Patience and Persistence in the Hospitality Journey

After completing her Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management in 2021, B.H.M.S. graduate Jessica Di Vico now holds the position of Executive Assistant at Hôtel Alpes & Lac in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

"Studying at B.H.M.S. to a bachelor's degree gave me the opportunity to gain experience in various hotels,” Jessica says, “After my last internship, which took place during the pandemic, I was offered the position of Administrative Assistant. This position allowed me to learn about Human Resources and the administration process.”

It wasn’t until a year later, following some fundamental changes in management, that Jessica was offered the position of Assistant Director.

Recalling the patience and hard work that led to this promotion, Jessica states, “This journey has taught me that perseverance pays off, and setbacks are often stepping stones to something greater. Patience and persistence are the keys to success, but you only get to know them once you experience them.”
